CAMPUS MEDIA GROUP OFFERS PSA PLACEMENT IN COLLEGE NEWSPAPERS

Bloomington, MN - July 6, 2006

In their annual effort to make PSA placement in college newspapers attainable to organizations looking to reach youth, Campus Media Group (CMG) has begun accepting applications for this year’s College Newspaper PSA Program.

Each year, CMG chooses one organization that has a message it needs to share with the 18- to 24-year-old demographic. CMG will work to have ads placed in some of the nation’s top college and university newspapers free of charge for a period of one academic school year.

Because of the strong relationships CMG has built with student publications over the years placing ads for national brands and agencies, they are able to garner excellent placement rates. This past school year, CMG worked with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. An awareness ad targeted to college females on the importance of early self-exams garnered more than 90 ad placements in more than 70 college newspapers nationwide.
